The inspiration for this mix was to use no vocal tracks. There are some sound effect vocals around the 40 minute mark, and, then I cheated some for the big finale. Somehow the train effect felt like it needed to be in this mix. This is my densest or most complex mix at 28 tracks which just about all play from start to finish and some of my best work to date.
One of the things I like about house music is you can throw anything into the blend. Classic rock vocals like one of my favorite 2008 tracks, Bleep, with the unmistakable Led Zeppelin vocals from Immigrant Song or movie tracks from spaghetti westerns which helps start this mix.
